Bloggery

For the three or four people who'll care ...

I've found myself writing again lately. Randomly jotting down movie reviews, political observations, general rants, etc. I'll probably be blogging again pretty soon, the urge seems to have returned.

And a brief word about the banner: MCF created a really awesome banner for me a while back, incorporating my blog name and the gun-toting monkey that I'd been using for a while. Well, I got an e-mail yesterday from the creator of the monkey graphic, asking me to stop using it as my blog header. Mea culpa. The monkey, sadly, is gone. I'll stick with a plain text banner for now.

Just a few notes about what's gone on since I've been away from the blogosphere:

I'm still holding out hope for Fred Thompson. I think there's a chance he may yet kick it into high gear. The next few weeks will tell all. I am sticking with him until it seems entirely hopeless.

A friend of mine has been using that monkey image in his forum signature for well over a year... bastard artists! Oh.. uh... never mind.

Glad to hear you got the 360, what games are you playing? Did you get a gold account on live? What's your screen name (I'll clear a spot for you). Still playing GRAW2 every night and Burnout Paradise comes out in a week.

What self-respecting art director used a graphic in a design without verifying you had the right to use the image? I demand his real name! ;)

I save everything in layers D, so if you want a chimp-less version, a version with your pooch, or some other rights-free image in there say the word.

Stick with Fred, man! At least until we see what happens with the South Carolina primaries on the 19th. It's way too early to give up on him now!

Came here by way of Spiritual Tramp, by the way.

I'm addicted to Guitar Hero. It's such a stress reliever. In fact I liked III so much I went out and bought II for my son. Yeah, for my son, haha! His friends challenge me to on-line games which I have yet to win, but am getting closer, and they got a kick out of my response, "Would you rather me be out on the streets taking drugs and drinking?", when my son kidded me about playing too much. "Mom, I'm supposed to say that!!!"

"Came here by way of Spiritual Tramp, by the way."

I'm bringing the blogosphere together. *Sniff* It's a beautiful thing.

Welcoime back man!!

I'm not very good at Guitar Hero, but in three hours I was able to achieve Level 5 in "1960's Country Bass Hero."

Sincerely,
The Governor

I've been monitoring some of the liberal political talk, and Huckabee is the only one who has them pooping bricks in fear. It is sickening how Limbaugh and crowd are twisting his record to paint him as a liberal, and even more sickening how so many conservatives believe it hands down without even looking into it and ignore the context. Jim Quinn actually called Huckabee a LIBERAL yesterday morning!

Thompson would have done better if he didn't practically show up at campaign events and debates in his pajamas and slippers. In today's political climate, Thompson would be unelectable in the general election. He's too dour, which unfortunately matters far too much these days. Stupid 19th amendment. ;)

McCain is too liberal for me. McCain-Finegold (First amendment? What First Amendemnt?), his support for repealing the Bush tax cuts, his support for amnesty for illegal aliens, his support for "green taxes", causes me to write him off completely. I support Giuliani over him. While Giuliani is personally pro-choice, he does believe that Roe V Wade should be overturned, which is a good first step in the right direction.

Kudos to Romney on taking Michigan. I could definitely support him as the nominee.

Good to see you blogging again, Mr. Darrell.

you popped your head up so quickly that when I tried to whack you with the rubber mallet I missed and hit MCF.

Welcome back.

Sort of.

sorry that i'm like 2 days late but: welcome back son. Hollah.

dude, you missed a chance to out MCF with a nice subpoena.

i always love your post, so look forward to whatever you have time and are inspired to write.

that's crazy about the monkey graphic!
