Alright, so I didn't like Superman Returns, and you can read my review at film geeks to find out exactly why, if you want to. I am, however, in the minority bigtime… and, besides, even if three quarters of the critics didn't give the movie the thumbs up, it would still be a huge commercial success. Even if it didn't take in quite the money the studio execs expected, I'm sure it'll turn a big profit once you factor in DVD sales, toys, video games, underoos, Burger King promotions, eventual DVD sales, I'm sure the studio will be rolling around in supercash. - It Just Never Gets Old

Be careful when you stumble across a list of Jack Handey's deep thoughts. If you're like me, you end up sitting there and reading them all. That's what Wendy says that Keira Knightley needed when she saw this picture. I got a good laugh out of that, mostly because I agree with it. She does look a bit oily and she certainly looks under-nourished. Then again, I've never understood the whole heroin-addicted waif look. I honestly don't think that today's super-skinny models and movie-stars are attractive. I just don't get it. I think that Mischa Barton has pretty eyes, but a skeleton with pretty eyes seems somehow even creepier. - I Still Don't Understand Racism
I suppose I'll never figure it out. My idea of racism is the genocide of thousands of black people before they even leave the womb. There are those, however, who are more concerned with the advertising of the new PSP with a white case instead of a black one.

Keira Knightly has always been so beautiful, and so grounded---I hate to see her looking so wasted. Tell Wendy to watch her in Bend it like Beckham---much more comely.

I didn't think that Superman Returns was all that great either, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new Pirates of the Car. movie. It is really goood!! We went to see a special 12:01 showing (midnight) on Friday, or late Thursday, depending on how you want to look at it. I won't spoil it at all. It made me really want to see the next one!!
Also, in the new flick, Kiera looks like she needs a bath. As a matter of fact, nearly everyone in that flick needs a good scrubbing. Filthy pirates!
