Mary, Marketing, Mutants, Movies, Metallica

Here's today's ramblings and absurd observations...

That's all I got for today… and, frankly, that's plenty.

Man, you don't even let readers off the hook at the end of that Spider-man bit, eh? Eeeeeeeevil....

I wish I hadn't followed the Dark Horizons link though. As much as I gleaned from the real trailer, that stuff confirmed as well as added some new information. Based on my knowledge of the comics, nothing was too surprising except for one thing, but that one thing was probably necessary based on a real life limitation. I'm being as vague as I can here; can you tell?

By the way you can't be Jean because I was Jean, which can only mean you're Madelyne Pryor. Thought I'd miss the clues in the goblin references, did you?

i can't believe that billboard...i tried to research online to see if it was false, but no such luck...i wish it was false.

Images of Mary or Jesus on various everyday items seem quite silly to me. These images have supposedly shown up on the bottom of a lasagna pan, on a grilled cheese, and other silly places.
I see nothing "awesome" about them.

The billboard is a terrible use of the crucifixion of Jesus. It is just awful.

We saw the official Spiderman trailer before Superman yesterday, and they do show a few fast shots of Sandman. I must say those were the best shots in the trailer. I think Venom looks way too small also.

I saw an image of Darrell in my pancake this morning, so I promptly ate it..

It was delicious!

Rhodester, I am flattered by the link, and I have to say that I've never looked so delicious.

MCF, I've amended the post. You're right, there should have been a warning of potential spoilage.

RC, I'd love to believe that the billboard was a fake, too. I'd love to believe that someone put it up to try to portray Christians as manipulative and judgmental... but, unfortunately, some of my Christian brothers and sisters are just manipulative enough and judgmental enough to put up such a billboard.

Jamie Dawn, you're right. Personally, I think we should look for Mary in our lives instead of in our dirty dishes.

Kelly, by mentioning that trailer, you've given me a reason to want to see Superman.

Man, I'm exhausted. I feel like I spent the afternoon on a bump-em car.
