Eerie October, Part 4: Photo Blogging With Poe

Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep- while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

Dude, you're scaring me.

Next, you'll probably pull out a xyuet and shake it at us!

Great photos. I am fascinated by cemeteries. I enjoy walking around reading headstones. My fav places of all are the cemeteries in Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA. Our family took a ghost tour in Charleston. It would be right up your alley.

Ah, I love this poem. Poe rocks the world, Casbah, and vote, among other things. And the pictures are so crisp. Awesome.

You guys are into cemeteries, and Wendy is from NY, so have you ever gone to Sleepy Hollow cemetery? It's very cool.

I love reading your wifes blog so I came in here to see what this one is all about. And I came accross these gorgeous photos! As I was scrolling down I was thinking "hmm I wonder where they got them" great job! love them!

Wow. I may have to steal this idea...with your enprvkl of course.
