Durbin Joins Fonda and Byrd in the Kinda-Sorta-Apology Department
Tom over at Mud & Phud summed up the Durbin pseudo-apology pretty succinctly:
...he basically said: You know, some people are overly sensitive and causing me some real political problems. To you, I say, "Sorry"...but to everyone else I say, "Rock On! Fight the power! Impeach Bush!"
Rock on, indeed.

I still would like to know what Durbin said was actually wrong or hateful. Rick Santorum last month got away with saying outright that the Democrats were acting just like Nazis and that was something that truly deserved to be apologized for.
I am in absolute agreement that Clinton lied to the people about his affair with Monica Lewinski and got what he deserved for lying. All Presidents should be help accountable about lying to the American people, Nixon, Clinton and even the current person.
