FILM GEEKS SELLS OUT!
You might have noticed the many Amazon links that are now here at film geeks and at our individual blogs. They're all over our home page, too.
Here's the deal.
Our server space and bandwith for the home page cost a little over three bucks a month. It ain't much, but it is another bill, even if it is a trivial one. We'd like to keep our internet hobbies free, so by joining Amazon Associates, we hope to earn the three-dollars-and-something a month that it takes to pay for our home page.
Therefore, if you want to click a banner here or there, feel free. It's appreciated. But don't feel obligated, of course.
And, we hereby make the following promise: While we can't control the content of certain Amazon ads, film geeks will NEVER EVER post a link to an individual DVD unless we really consider it to be a great film worth buying. All of those DVDs down the left hand column are DVDs that we actually own, some of which we actually bought from Amazon, and all of them are films that Wendy and I recommend to you whole-heartedly.
We'll never link to any specific DVD that we'd be ashamed to tell you personally that you should buy.
So, thanks for visiting the new corporate-whore version of film geeks, thanks in advance if you decide to click an Amazon link or two, and please rest assured that we're going to keep it real. We really do think that The Exorcist, for instance, is a great film and worth buying.
